Our ultrasound disinfection products include alcohol-free wipes and sprays suitable for ultrasound transducers and cables, hard surfaces, exam tables and more.
The Protex products are effective against a broad spectrum of pathogens while preserving the integrity of your equipment. Fast and easy to use, the wipes and sprays will kill 99.9% of bacteria in only 15 seconds. The SONO Disinfectant Wipes (available in canisters or softpacks) are effective against more than 47 pathogens including HIV and HPV. They have a wide field of action and are tested on all major ultrasound probes.
The Transeptic is a cleaning solution formulated for all kinds of probes. We also offer a soaking station specially designed for high-level disinfection of ultrasound probes or accessories (like reusable needle guides). It can hold commonly used chemicals including glutaraldehyde and OPA.
