Shipping policy

1. Applicability & Incorporation

This Shipping Policy (“Policy”) is part of and governed by our Terms & Conditions of Sale. Capitalized terms not defined herein have the meaning assigned in the Terms. This Policy applies to all orders placed via us.edm-imaging.com unless otherwise agreed.


2. Shipping Rates & Free Shipping Threshold

  • Orders $399 USD or more (before tax and shipping) qualify for free standard shipping within the contiguous United States.
  • Orders under $399 are subject to a flat shipping rate of $18 USD, unless otherwise displayed at checkout.
  • Expedited or premium shipping (Next-Day, 2-Day, Express) is available at additional cost and will be calculated at checkout.

3. Order Processing, Cutoff & Handling

  • Orders placed before 6:00 pm Eastern Time (ET) on a business day will be processed the same day (excluding backordered items, holidays, or special handling).
  • Orders placed after 6:00 pm ET, or on weekends or U.S. national holidays, will be processed the next business day.
  • “Business days” are Monday through Friday, excluding federal holidays in the U.S.
  • Processing time (preparation, packing) is distinct from transit time, and transit estimates are not guaranteed.

4. Choice of Carrier & Shipping Discretion

We reserve the right to select the carrier (USPS, UPS, FedEx, or others) and method for any order, without prior notice, so long as the chosen method is materially similar in service level. Such selection will not entitle the buyer to cancel or refuse delivery, unless otherwise agreed in writing.


5. Title & Risk of Loss

  • Unless otherwise agreed in writing, title and risk of loss for products pass to you upon delivery to the carrier (i.e., when we hand the goods over to the shipping provider).
  • You are responsible for filing any claims with the carrier for lost, damaged, or missing items in transit, unless we agree to handle a specific claim at our discretion.

6. Delivery & Delay

  • Shipping dates quoted are estimates only, and we are not liable for any delay in delivery or failure to deliver caused by events beyond our reasonable control (see Section 8).
  • In the event of delay or inability to ship due to force majeure or supply chain disruptions, we reserve the right to reschedule, substitute carriers, or cancel the order without liability.
  • You may not refuse delivery or cancel an order solely due to a delay if we notify you in a reasonable time.

7. Inspection Upon Delivery & Damage Claims

  • You must inspect all shipments immediately upon receipt, before disposing of packaging.
  • If packaging is damaged or there is evidence of tampering, refuse delivery or note the damage on the delivery record from the carrier, and contact us immediately.
  • Damage claims must be submitted in writing (including photos of the damaged packaging and product) within 5 business days of delivery.
  • After 10 days from invoice date (or delivery date, whichever is later), claims for damage or loss are disallowed.

8. Force Majeure & Shipping Exceptions

  • We are not liable for delays, nonperformance, or failures in delivery due to causes beyond our control, including but not limited to: natural disasters, weather, pandemics, labor disputes, act of government, carrier failures, customs delays, import/export restrictions, power outages, or supply shortages.
  • In such events, we may extend deadlines, use alternate carriers, or cancel orders, and we will attempt to provide notice of expected delays when practicable.

9. Amendment of Policy

We reserve the right to update or amend this Policy at any time without prior notice. Material changes will be posted on our website and take effect upon posting (or as otherwise stated). Continuing to use our services or place orders after changes are posted constitutes acceptance.


10. Limitation of Liability

Our liability for shipping, delay, loss, or damage is limited to a refund of shipping costs or the purchase price of the product in question, whichever is less. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, punitive, or consequential damages resulting from shipping issues.
