Bard-Parker Scalpel Blade Remover
The Bard-Parker® Blade Remover is a must-have single use tool for any surgical environment. This device is designed to assist clinicians in safely removing up to five blades from conventional scalpels, allowing users to avoid coming into contact with the blades themselves. It minimizes the risk of sharps injuries by safely unloading contaminated blades into a secure channel.
Thanks to the transparent lid, users can easily count the number of removed blades. The blades are trapped in the Bard-Parker Scalpel Blade Remover behind locking tabs that also indicate when the device is full. You can easily secure it to any surface (including drapes) with the included adhesive backing.
The Bard-Parker® Blade Remover is designed to provide an audible and tactile response to ensure that the blade is securely in place before removing the scalpel handle. It helps comply with OSHA Bloodborne Standard 1910.1030(d)(2)(vii)(B) and AORN Recommended Practices.
