The Bard-Parker SafeSwitch Disposable Scalpel Handle Cover was created to be used with surgical blades for procedures that involve puncturing, cutting, and tissue separation. It boasts a retractable shield that can be easily activated with one hand.
This handle cover is compatible with Bard-Parker® conventional size 3 handles, and provides an additional layer of protection against accidental blade exposure. They come in packs of 8 and cases of 32.
The SafeSwitch Handle Cover helps provide protection from injuries that may occur before, during, or after a procedure. It is designed for both left and right-handed use and features an easy one-step blade removal design.
Additionally, this handle cover is sterile and disposable, making it an ideal option to use and discard after each procedure. It is made without natural rubber latex, so it is suitable for individuals with latex allergies.
