Because the Protex spray starts killing on contact, it eliminates 99.9% of bacteria in just 15 seconds. It also cleans and disinfects in one easy step.
This spray is bleach-free, alcohol-free and solvent-free. Therefore, all the key manufacturers of ultrasound equipment approve and recommend the Parker Protex spray.
While they are extremely effective, Protex disinfectants are a low-level disinfection solution. They do not replace a high-level disinfection required for semi-critical instruments (in contact with non-intact skin or mucous membrane)
