Krystal Ultrasound Gel
The Krystal ultrasound gel is a high-viscosity & non-sterile gel. Clinicians widely use the Krystal for their diagnostic or therapeutic ultrasound procedures, as it is latex-free, non-staining and non-greasy. Its highly conductive formula results in crisp images, revealing the details that matter the most for your ultrasound exams.
Available as 1 box of 40 bottles or as a 5L pack (1 unit).
Because it is water-soluble, the Krystal gel won't stain or damage the ultrasound transducer. It has been tested on all major ultrasound probes on the market. Indeed, the Krystal is alcohol-free, salt-free and formaldehyde-free. Besides, Krystal ultrasound jelly is hypoallergenic, dye-free and contains no paraben. This ensures a safe and quality scanning for the physician and for the patient. Also, it is easy to clean the Krystal gel with regular ultrasound wipes.
The 8.5 oz (250 mL) dispenser bottle fits in all types of gel warmers, and features a steeple cap for easy and efficient gel application on the probe and the patient.
Krystal ultrasound gel: versatile, safe and cost-effective
The Krystal jelly is indicated for ultrasound exams performed in diverse departments including radiology, obstetrics, gynecology, anesthesia, pain management. Also, it is safe for routine procedures, 3D/4D ultrasounds, doppler, laser treatment and more. However, the Krystal ultrasound gel being non-sterile, it is not suitable for procedures like endocavity biopsies (prostate biopsies, egg retrieval) or the operating theatre environment.
The Krystal transmission gel can also serve as a coupling agent for electrotherapy applications such as pain therapy, skin rejuvenation, and muscle stimulation. However, it is indicated for external use only.
Finally, the unique manufacturing process that uses a vacuum chamber allows for a bubble-free gel. Also, the Krystal gel is FDA-approved and bacteriostatic. For longer shelf-life, we recommend that you store your gel away from sunlight and heat sources.
