This renewed collaboration ensures that high-quality ultrasound thermal paper and gel are provided at no cost to Heartbeat of Miami, helping the organization offer free ultrasound exams to expectant mothers in crisis in underserved communities.
Heartbeat of Miami delivers life-affirming medical services and pregnancy support to women facing unplanned pregnancies. EDM’s donations allow the clinic’s team to enhance both the medical and emotional care they provide. In the company's latest round of donations, EDM added Parker Protex disinfectant wipes to facilitate low-level disinfection of the organization's ultrasound equipment. The company also plans to donate soaking disinfection stations for the high-level disinfection of Heartbeat of Miami's transvaginal ultrasound probes.

Now, sonographers at their clinics are not only able to show mothers their baby on the screen of the machine, but also give them a valuable memory to take home with them.
“One of the things I have witnessed over time with each client is how their faces light up with overwhelming joy after being able to confirm their pregnancies via an ultrasound, not just seeing, but also listening to the heartbeat of their little ones, making it a surreal moment for them,” said Idalys Isales, Sonographer at Heartbeat of Miami. “To have a memento like an ultrasound picture to remember the feeling of their first ultrasound of their unborn baby is priceless!”
