Our History

1987

EDM was born, founded by a French pharmacist. Located near Paris, the company manufactures ultrasound gel. It also distributes ultrasound covers, media papers and biopsy needle guides

2005

EDM acquires Echo Contacts, a company specialized in ultrasound and cardiology products. The newly formed entity becomes the French leader of ultrasound accessories.

2010

EDM acquires GE’s medical devices division

2012

EDM acquires Ondes & Rayons, French leader of radiology accessories. EDM upscales its distribution network to European markets: Belgium, Switzerland, Italy, Spain and more

2014

EDM acquires PMA, also specialized in radiology accessories, and becomes the key player of medical imaging accessories

2016

EDM opens a branch in Florida, and serves now more than 20 countries across the world
