Description

Regional Anesthesia Kit

Krystal Regional Anesthesia Kits serve as a practical solution for healthcare professionals to maintain the highest level of hygiene and safety during medical procedures. With the choice of either polyurethane or latex protection, these kits provide versatility in catering to individual needs and preferences. Each kit consists of seven elements, including cups in different colors, which ensure ease of use and minimize the risk of error during the procedure:

  • 1 probe cover
  • 1 gel sachet
  • 2 60 ml cups
  • 1 paintbrush
  • 1 20 ml syringe
  • 5 compresses measuring 7.5 x 7.5 cm
  • 1 sterile sheet measuring 90 x 75 cm
  • 1 transparent tray

The Steps of Regional Anesthesia

1st step: Disinfect the patient's skin
Pour Betadine into the first cup and apply it by swabbing
Alternatively, pour Betadine directly onto the compresses. In this case, the cup and paintbrush are not necessary.

2nd step: Apply the probe cover
Install the probe cover (either polyurethane or latex) on the probe, apply the gel, and use the elastic to secure it.

3rd step: Preparation of the anesthetic product
Use the second cup to directly collect the anesthetic product with the syringe.

4th step: Regional Anesthesia Procedure
You may either perform local anesthesia with a 25G hypodermic needle for increased patient comfort, or perform it directly with a regional anesthesia needle (less comfortable for patient).

5th step: Patient Cleaning
Clean the patient with the remaining compresses.
