The Director XT needle guide is a vital physician’s tool to be used as an accessory to ultrasound transducers. It will help guiding a needle into a target and perform a procedure with precise needle placement.

The needle guide attaches securely to the mounting bracket (sold separately). The insert set allows the user to choose the needle size that best suits the procedure:

The guides save time and resources, by reducing the number of attempts and the risk of hitting critical areas.

It also allows for clear visual needle placement in any situation or procedure.
In addition, the Director XT needle guide features an easy quick release pad, designed to take the transducer away while leaving the needle in the targeted area.

The following procedures may require the use of needle guides: soft tissue biopsy, drainage, regional anesthesia and vascular access.

This device is a disposable, single-use product, and therefore must not be re-sterilized or reused.

Each procedure kit contains a needle guide, an insert set, a soft probe cover, a sterile gel packet and two elastic bands.
