Sterile Latex General Purpose Probe Covers

These latex ultrasound probe covers are sterile, and therefore perfect for all ultrasound-guided interventional procedures. The latex is a cost-effective solution when it comes to in-office procedures. Indeed they are ideal for general purpose US interventions such as:

• Regenerative therapies made in Orthopedic, sport and pain clinics: PRP, Stem cells and joint injections
• Ultrasound-guided interventions made in imaging or radiology centers: biopsies, punctures, aspirations, and drainages
• Other outpatient procedures requiring a sterile probe cover

However, if you are a latex-free facility or have patients/staff that present allergies to latex, we recommend the EDM latex-free probe covers (12" length are great!)

This sterile probe sheath is 1.5" x 7.9"(3.5 x 20 cm). Still, the latex material is extremely durable and stretchable, and can accommodate linear or curved probes up to 3.5 inches across.

Sterile latex probe covers play a prominent role against cross-contamination: they prevent infections from spreading in your facility and protect your ultrasound transducer from contaminants like blood and other body fluids. Of course, ultrasound covers are disposable and single-use.

These superficial latex covers will be your go-to for all your ultrasound interventions, as well as some endocavity examinations. They provide clear images for accurate and safe scanning. Because they are rolled, latex covers are easy to apply and take off without compromising your sterile field.

Finally, each cover kit includes two elastic bands and a Parker sterile gel packet
