Endocavity Latex-Free Ultrasound Cover
The endocavity latex-free ultrasound cover is suitable for all exams where a regular latex cover may cause allergies to the patient or the healthcare professional. It will protect your patient and equipment from cross-contamination, and will also reduce the time required to clean the probe from gel, soil, and debris.
The cover uses the Shield® material, a soft, stretchable and resistant polyurethane. As a result, it meets all the requirements for a safe and comfortable endocavity exam (endovaginal or endorectal). Also, the soft material offers a good resistance to puncture, which makes this cover ideal for biopsies or aspirations.
These probe covers are suitable for allergic patients or healthcare professionals. However, only the sterile kit can enter the operating room
The endocavity probe covers are available in 2 sizes, and can be sterile or non-sterile:
- 4 tapered to 1.25 x 12": 10 covers/box
- 5 tapered to 2 x 24": 24 covers/box
Also, the 4-1.25 x 12" non-sterile cover is available in a 50 units bulk packaging.
The sterile procedure kit includes the cover, a sterile gel packet (20mL) and two elastic bands.
The non-sterile probe cover kit comes with the cover and two elastic bands.
