Created to be safer and more efficient in non-operating room settings (ER, ICU, Wound Care), the Bard-Parker SafetyLock Carbon Rib-Back Surgical Blades are designed with a protected sheath to help prevent and decrease the risk of injury when handling.

The sterile blade is permanently attached to the handle​ and its clear protective shield provides an audible lock for safety assurance. This blade is easy to use as it allows one hand safety activation and can be used by right or left-handed practitioners.

It was designed to offer the same feel and quality as conventional blades. The SafetyLock adds value to the blade with the increased protection, without compromising on the ergonomic benefits: even the compatible handle has conventional weight and fell.

Bard-Parker SafetyLock Carbon Rib-Back Surgical Blades are meant to be used for tissue separation and other procedures that require sharp surgical blades to puncture or cut. Thanks to its carbon steel technology, this product provides greater cutting advantages, and due to its unique Rib-Back® blade design, it allows greater strength and control.

These blades are only suited to work with Bard-Parker® SafetyLock™ Handles. Each pouch contains 1 blade individually wrapped and one box comes with 50 blades. Each case carries 3 boxes.
